Action Against Hunger

When crisis struck in Syria and the surrounding region it bought the arrival of refugees across the border into Jordan. Where more than 1.3 million Syrians have sought refuge there, weighing on the Jordanian economy and its infrastructure.

As a result of this, Action Against Hunger met refugee’s immediate humanitarian needs and provided them with basic livelihoods.
Alongside this, as many Syrians have been traumatised by what they have seen and experienced, the teams continue to provide psychological support to the most vulnerable children and women.
In order to continuously give this type of support it comes through extremely generous donations.

Dan (pictured) is just one example of those extraordinary people who had given to the cause. He should be extremely proud of what he achieved, not only as he raised thousands towards a team donation of an astonishing £230k!!! But he also managed to trek close to 100km over six days.

Well done Dan!
