Coconut Protein Ball Recipe
Try this tasty pre or post workout snack 😋
👉🏻3 cups Medjool dates, pitted
👉🏻1 1/2 cups almonds
👉🏻1/2 cup water
👉🏻2 tbsp cacao powder
👉🏻120g Protein Powder
👉🏻1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
👉🏻1/2 cup coconut flakes, unsweetened
*FYI Half a cup of dry goods = 64g
Using a food processor, add almonds and process until coarse flour (meal) texture. Add dates and water, process until combined, pausing and scraping the walls if necessary.
Add cacao and protein powders, process until well combined, pausing and scraping the walls if necessary. Add chocolate chips.
Spread coconut flakes on a large plate.
Once you have finished with the food processor, turned it off and removed the blades. Create some balls to roll through the coconut flakes.
Fridge for 20 mins then enjoy.
Nutritional values will change depending on how many balls you make with the mixture. We decided to create 11 huge servings which gave us the following per ball:

- 5g Carbs
- 12g Protein
